Another great option in the area is to book an Airbnb or VRBO. Some towns to consider are Sharon CT, Amenia NY, Lakeville CT, and Kent CT. Please note transport won’t be provided from individual lodging but private transport is able to be booked in advance. Uber/Lyft are not readily available in the area.
